Biophilic design in hospitality
Guests stay longer and come back to places that feel natural: wood, plants, warm light and a noise level at which you can understand each other. In hospitality, biophilic design is therefore simply revenue.
The entrance
The first ten seconds set the expectation. A living plant wall or a moss wall with a logo behind the bar or at reception becomes the photo guests share.
Acoustics
Hard floors, high ceilings and full rooms: hospitality is loud. Moss walls, ceiling islands in wool and green between tables take away the reverberation without looking like acoustics.
Materials that can take use
Oak tabletops, leather and wool seats, planters in clay and steel. Sustainable in the literal sense: it lasts for years and gets more beautiful.
Staff restaurants
The canteen is where an organisation sees itself. We fit out staff restaurants with the same ingredients as a good cafe: light, green, wood and zones to sit apart for a moment.

Yes, with the right plants and distance from the heat source. Where there is grease and smoke, preserved moss in a closed frame is the better choice.
