Moss wall or living plant wall?
A moss wall is preserved moss without maintenance; a living plant wall is a vertical garden with water, light and a gardener. They both look green, but they ask something very different of your building and your organisation.
Moss wall
No water, no light, no maintenance. Works anywhere, even in a corridor without windows, and dampens sound. The moss no longer lives, but keeps its colour for 8 to 10 years. Ideal for meeting rooms, corridors, the outside of a booth, and for any organisation where nobody has time for plants.
Living plant wall
Real plants, real growth, real air. Needs a water connection, power for grow lights and a maintenance contract. It is the eye-catcher for an entrance, a canteen or a waiting room where you want to make an impression.
Costs
A moss wall costs per square metre roughly what a living wall costs per year in maintenance. Over five years moss is therefore considerably cheaper; in return the living wall gives something moss cannot: humidity, scent and movement.

Frequently asked question
Can a moss wall go in a humid room?
Preferably not above 70% humidity and never in direct sunlight; the moss then discolours. A corridor, meeting room or office floor is fine.
